As part of the Future School Project for Semester 2, students from the University of Hong Kong (HKU) participated in an intensive one-day workshop to develop and articulate design concepts for a Future School situated on Lamma Island, Hong Kong.

Drawing on prior site analyses conducted on Lamma Island and insights gained during an excursion to the floating village school on Koh Panyee, Thailand, each student synthesised their observations into a set of individual design parameters. These parameters were then tested and refined through an iterative rapid paper modelling process, translating conceptual ideas into tangible spatial propositions.
